Here is the updated event list. Thank you all for working so hard, we must keep up the momentum! Please join us at one of the events below or check your own community calendars for other great events around Arizona. We are working hard to collect petition signatures so that Vince will appear on the primary ballot in August. We also need assistance gathering the $5 Clean Elections Qualifying contributions.


 


Below are some great events to meet voters and introduce the people of Arizona to their 
Next Attorney General, Vince Rabago.

TUCSON:

Sat 4/10 – Sun 4/11 Barrio Hollywood Fiesta Grande

This is a good place to collect signatures. “Barrio Hollywood will hold its 8th Annual Fiesta Grande Street Fair on Saturday, April 10th from 9:30 am until dusk and Saturday, April 11th from noon to dusk.
The event will take place on Grande Avenue between Speedway Boulevard and St. Mary's Road.” There will be at least two of our volunteer leaders attending this event. RSVP today to join us!

Sat 4/10 Weekly Canvass w/ Congressman Grijalva 8:30am –
 
Every Saturday Team Vince is encouraged to join the Grijalva canvass if they are not attending another event. This week the canvass will feature newly announced candidate for AZ Senate Rodney Glassman and will be held out of Pima County Democratic HQ. 4639 E. 1st Street

Sat 4/17 Weekly Canvass w/ Grijalva Campaign 9:00am-


April 17th the weekly canvass will return to Congressman Grijalva’s Campaign HQ 452 S. Stone.

Sun 4/11 Race for the Cure –

This is a good place to collect signatures. I would recommend wearing pink (of course) and just mingling with the crowds. I will be at this event with another volunteer, we could use one or two more. Many of our volunteers will also be participating in the race. Come out and support the team! Below is the schedule, the event takes place at Reid Park:

Last Bus/Shuttle Leaves El Con 7:30 AM
5K Competitive Run Start 7:50 AM
5K Non-Competitive Walk/Run Start 8:00 AM
Bus/Shuttle Resumes back to El Con 9:15 AM
Award and Survivor Ceremony 9:45 AM
Last Bus/Shuttle Leaves Race Venue 11:00 AM

4/15 – 4/25 Pima County Fair –



We need a lot of volunteers for each and every day of the event. We will be joining the Pima County Democratic Party’s table and assisting with Voter Registration and PEVL sign ups. If a volunteer guarantees that they will be volunteering at least 3 days of the fair we need their names by Saturday and they will be eligible for a full pass for only $15 (through Pima Dems) that includes entry and parking every day of the event.


PHOENIX AREA
Sat 4/10 Sun City Grand Biannual Garage Sale

 
Surprize AZ, Event description: “The Grand Democrats invite you to participate in the Sun City Grand biannual Garage Sale in Surprise on Saturday, April 10th. Over 3,000 people from throughout the west valley come to the garage sale.
The Grand Dems will have a couple of tables for election materials, our newsletter, Democratic caps and shirts to sell and space for candidates as well as a number of tables on which we sell “valuables.”
The event officially runs from 7 a.m. 'til noon; however, it really starts before 6 a.m. and dies down around 10:30 a.m. You're welcome to come and share our space that day. Of course, you can bring campaign materials to distribute.” 19753 North Remington Drive in the Sonoran Plaza Parking lot. It would be nice to have 1 or 2 volunteers stop by the event.

**4/11 West Valley Walk for Congressman Grijalva-
 
1pm-4pm Paradise Bakery 9995 W. McDowell Rd Avondale Az. We need a good turnout for this event. We will be carrying both Vince and Congressman Grijalva’s petitions and lit. Congressman Grijalva has not only endorsed Vince Rabago for Attorney General but is also an honorary co-chair of the campaign. Thank You! Let’s Go Team!

4/14 ASU Attorney General Forum-


 
 This is something that we would like to raise our attendance for as well as have some volunteers on hand to help collect signatures.

Join the Pinal Dems and bring your Vince4Az materials. “We'll be meeting at 10 am this Saturday morning in front of the Filoberto Restaurant in San Tan Valley, northeast corner of Ironwood and Ocotillo. PLEASE RSVP if you can make it so that we can have enough packets and maps available! If any of you have printed campaign material, bring it along.”
