In less than seven months, voting will have started in an election that will determine the future of Arizona. Will we continue with a legislature that is:
- Devastating education;
- Cutting jobs;
- Taking away domestic partner benefits; &
- denying health care to hundreds of thousands of Arizonans?
Or will we elect a Democratic majority for the first time since Lyndon Johnson was President?Will we keep officials like Jan Brewer, Dean Martin, and Tom Horne who want to deny LGBT people our basic rights? Will the Republicans elect candidates like J.D. Hayworth, who associate same-sex marriage with beastiality?
Or will we move into the future with LGBT and LGBT-friendly state officials from Governor to Superintendent of Public Instruction.The choice is yours!
