Arizona GOP sees the positive in voter registration report

The Arizona Republican

Party put out a news release Monday touting its growing “edge” over the Democrats in terms of registered voters.|
 

But not surprisingly, it glossed over some other, much less positive news: the ever rising number of independent voters.
 

“Since October of 2009, Republicans have increased their margin over Democrat voters by nearly 6,000,” the release declares.
 

And that's true…if you round. Aggressively.
 

The newest figures released by the Secretary of State's office show that as of March 1, the Republicans had an edge of 5,593 voters over the Democrats, somewhat short of the nice, even 6,000 number.

So we see how important it is that we all do our part to GOTV and register Democrats. I for one do not want more John McCain and I sure the hell do not want the likes of "Birther" JD Hayworth taking his place.
