River Valley Democrats Donate To Student's Trip To D.C.

Mohave Junior High (Bullhead City) Honor Roll Student gets another sponsor for the coveted trip to Washington D.C. May 14th.

Some of the awesome activities planned for the Honor Roll group in our Nation’s Capital –  a tour of the White House, the Senate and House Chambers, Lincoln Memorial, Smithsonian Air, Space and Natural History Museums.   

 They also hope to meet President Obama 

and Senators McCain and Kyl.

 This is a unique learning opportunity for these Honor Roll Students, and this is indeed a worthy cause for a dedicated student, who might also become a published writer soon!

 Maria’s Mother Joy, a single mom, works full time,  takes courses part time to become an RN,  

and also helps out at the school when needed.
